Log keeping

Logbook, day 1

Finally i get a use for this thing, going to keep writing in it as the days pass, i was at the bar earlier today when i heard the story of a large undiscovered treasure, normally i dont believe in lost treasures but this man....he sounded so genuine and his eyes....i think he was telling the truth, anyway, im all packed and im ready to leave for tomorrow, the plane leaves at 8 in the morning so i need some sleep.

Logbook day 2

Finally reached my destination, a remote village at the bottom of a large mountain, according to the man it was supposed to be here somewhere on that mountain or in the local area. but its just thick forest everywhere....i was lucky i managed to find the place and that it had a place to sleep.

logbook day 4

didn't write anything yesterday as nothing happened...spent the day getting to know the people and the culture as well as some sightseeing like i said, the village isn't to big but i might as well now that i'm here right, i also heard another rumor, they say the mountain is haunted...a haunted mountain ? that seems a bit over the top.

Logbook day 7 

Been walking for two days now....bought a tent and a lot of food so i can survive out here, but man this place....its so huge, i doubt im going to find anything too soon but im keeping hope up, it cant be that long now, i just have this feeling..

Logbook day 10

All out of food....been gathering food from bushes and animals....found some nice mushrooms earlier, going to cook up some now, they look delicious.

....im sick, those mushrooms....not good....seeing things and hearing noises....cant feel my leg...the world is spinning...


logbook day 12

...i slept for two days....good thing is that i feel fully rested now but those damn shrooms....i guess i should know better than taking stuff i dont know what is....meh, but i think i saw something today. a bit further up the mountain there is an entrance...going there tommorow

logbook day 16

I...i dont know what i figured....i went inside the mountain cave and i did....find something....im just not sure if that is what i wanted to find....when i walked inside the cave i followed the way til i reached a large open room....it was pitch black but my lighter still worked so i made a makeshift torch, inside the room there was a throne almost and a large mirror...still trying to figure it out

i...i think i know...it all makes sense now....it does, it has to be, im not wrong! this is it! i found the treasure!! its mine! i found it! i cant believe it! i cant wait to tell my wife!

i...im alive...and i...now my purpose now....to guard this treasure from others....to be the mountains protector...she told me so....she helped me see....my broken body...she nursed me back to health...gave me something better....she calls me her daughter....she calls me a dryad...protector of the mountain and forest...i...i think im happy...

Logbook day 100

....looking back at this book...its so silly...humans and whatnot...they dont know....they never do...i didnt either....im glad mom helped me understand....and i guess this means this book needs to go...she said she didnt want any of my old stuff as it will just remind me....and i think mommy is right...Goodbye mr logbook and if for some reason someone manages to read this or find this book....you will join us....
